I thought today I would write about vitamin D and nutrition. The reason for this is that I recently took blood tests with a third party called Thriva who then analyze your results against important health measurements, like vitamin D.
I scored pretty badly on the vitamin D scale, in fact the amount of vitamin D in my body is considered insufficient. Now why am I writing a blog about this? Well because of the current pandemic.
There has been lots of research to show the correlation between deaths and vitamin D deficiency. Vitamin D helps our immune system, but most importantly it fights against respiratory diseases. Therefore I advise you all to take vitamin D supplements if you are not getting enough sunshine and help to fight this battle together.
